DIGITAL FORENSICS

Digital evidence is playing a key role in many of the cases, and dealing with the complexity of these cases involving ESI requires advanced digital forensics skills, experience, along with state-of-art software.

COMPUTER FORENSICS

Computer forensics is a branch of forensic science encompassing the recovery and investigation of material found in digital devices, often in relation to computer crime. It is a set of methodological procedures and techniques that help us to identify, gather, preserve, extract, interpret, document and present evidence from computing equipment, such that any discovered evidence is acceptable during a legal and/or administrative proceeding.

EMAIL FORENSICS

As the name suggests, email forensics involves investigating emails. In forensics, analysis of emails and the content within is carried out to determine legitimacy, source, date, time, sender, and recipient information. The purpose of this is to provide admissible digital evidence for use in civil or criminal proceedings. With our team of digital forensic professional experts, we can extract email data using methods that are forensically sound, making them highly recommended.

MOBILE FORENSICS

CenturyEng team of experts and their vast technology knowledge are able to use their skills for the recovery of digital evidence data from a mobile device under forensically sound conditions.

NETWORK FORENSICS

Network forensics is an evolution of typical digital forensics, in which evidence is gathered from network traffic in near real time. CenturyEng Technical Solutions has built a solid foundation of processes and controls to identify incidents and gather evidence from the network.

E-DISCOVERY

Electronic discovery also referred to as e-discovery/e-Discovery refers to gathering and producing electronically stored information (ESI) in response to a production request in a law suit or investigation. There are a number of types of electronic information in ESI, including emails, documents, presentations, databases, voicemail messages, audio files, and video files, as well as social media and websites.

It is a standard procedure in civil litigation to conduct the e-discovery process. With our experience of the law, we have been able to assist legal practitioners during the e-discovery process, particularly when digital information is involved. It is a legally complex process as illustrated in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (ERDM) that CenturyEng Technical Solutions uses for its electronic discovery operations.

CELL & RECORD SITE ANALYSIS

The concealment of evidence through mobile phones has been a major success in many criminal activities over the years. Cell site analysis is the examination of Call Data Records (CDRs) that are obtained from mobile phone networks. These files contain records of calls made and received, records of text messages sent and received (SMS messages). From this, our team of qualified Data Analyst can:

$
Map out locations where a phone was at a time, or where it frequents or has traveled.
$
Describe when and how often the parties communicated.
$
Detail when any SIM swapping has taken place, so where someone is moving their SIM card between different handsets. This could be of use if you are trying to identify if someone is hiding a phone from interrogation by the local authority.
$
Include information on possible colocation of several handsets.
